of the outdoor protective cover must be good to ensure that rainwater cannot enter the interior of the protective cover 

      

and corrode the camera. Some outdoor protective covers also come with exhaust fans, heating plates, and wipers to

Protective covers are generally divided into two categories. 

 

  

One type is indoor protective cover. 

 

 

This protective cover has a simple structure and is inexpensive. Its main function is to prevent the monitoring camera 

   

from falling dust and has a certain safety protection effect, such as anti-theft, anti damage, etc.

   

This type of protective cover is generally an all-weather protective cover, which can ensure the normal operation of the 

   

camera installed inside the protective cover regardless of adverse conditions such as wind, rain, snow, high temperature,  

 

low temperature, etc. Therefore, this protective cover has functions such as cooling, heating, rain protection, and snow  

  

prevention. At the same time, in order to enable the camera to capture images normally in rainy and snowy weather, 

   

controllable wipers are generally installed in front of the glass window of the all-weather protective cover. At present, 

   

the best all-weather protective cover is one that uses semiconductor devices for heating and cooling. This protective 

   

cover contains semiconductor elements that can automatically heat up or cool down, with low power consumption. 

   

In addition, there are hemispherical and spherical protective covers with built-in universal adjustable brackets, which 

   

have a beautiful appearance.

 

   

Another type is outdoor protective cover.

 

   

The sealing performance of the outdoor protective cover must be good to ensure that rainwater cannot enter the interior 

   

of the protective cover and corrode the camera. Some outdoor protective covers also come with exhaust fans, heating  

 

plates, and wipers to better protect the equipment. When the weather is too hot, the exhaust fan automatically works.

 

The heating plate works automatically when it is too cold; When there is rainwater on the protective cover glass, the  

 

wiper can be activated through the control system. The selection of camera protective cover should first accommodate 

 

the monitoring camera used and leave appropriate surplus space. Secondly, the appropriate type of protective cover  

   

should be selected based on the usage environment. On this basis, the weight of the entire camera front end, including  

   

the protective cover and gimbal, should be accumulated and a bracket with corresponding load-bearing values should be  

 

selected. We also need to consider the overall structure. The fewer installation holes, the more conducive it is to  

 

waterproofing. Then we need to check whether the internal wiring is easy to connect. Finally, we also need to consider  

 

the appearance, weight, installation base, and so on.
